Decals. The Tetron stickers to the right are for detail on the GN Shield, although I put them on the shoulders…;

_Body_

The body in itself is fairly straight forward, nothing really to complain about.the shoulder joints can move out a great deal, for a HG model that is. Very nice!

_Head_

Still pretty simple, but getting more complex as we go. the antennae came as white, with red and yellow stickers for the gem and top antennae. That wouldn’t do! painted the antennae yellow, and the gem clear red, although I kept the red sticker so it looked ever so slightly more shiny. ;

An interesting option here. If you so choose, is to leave the rear sticker off the model. Since the clear part for the eyes extends all the way to back of the head, you can leave the rear sensor sticker off, and paint the black on the eyes. This lets light show through, and make the eyes look like they’re glowing. I didn’t do this, but still a nice touch.

_Arms_

Still pretty straight forward. Although here you can see that the arm has a double joint. The wrist also has a joint on it too, bit the hand still can’t touch the shoulder…

Here we have an in depth look at the mechanics of the arm. the elbow joint bends a clear 90 degrees, and is also connected to a poly cap in the forearm, letting it bend further. you can also see the joint in the wrist. Very nice for a HG, if I do say so myself.

A look at the manipulator hand vs the open fist. I always like how the open hand is way~ more detailed then the fist. I only wish they gave on for the left hand too… =.=

_Legs_

Here we go. Now this leg technically has an internal skeleton. The knee joint armor also moves with the knee, which is something you only usually see on a MG model!

An in depth look at the internal workings of the leg. The knee is double jointed, and the ankle is triple (forward/back in two places, and side to side)! Bandai is impressing me every day! =D

_Waist_

Oh dear! =o It appears I don’t have the completed waist pictured! Please forgive me! xD Anyway, to the right is an interesting element. The poly cap isn’t in the socket, but it is, in itself, the ball joint! very interesting, indeed!

_GN Drive_

Nothing, in the world, has ever been more straight forward to build. Ever. Felt like painting them, didn’t bother.

_GN-0000_

Now, why do they call it the ‘GN-0000’? Wasn’t Exia the GN-001? So 00 Gundam is actually a step backward? What? I am confused! xP

This is the best action/running pose I could manage. The stand Kind of got in the way… xP It is really easy to throw into a pose, though!

It honestly took my about 10 seconds to put 00 into these poses. God, I love that Manipulator hand! xD

_Beam Sabers_

These are the two ways the beam sabers can fit into his Ass Armor (XD). when they’re facing down, they are very stable, but when they’re sticking out to the side they are kind of shaky. I just wouldn’t tilt the model too far to one side.

Oh, Ah! Wait for it, wait for it…

Actual beam sabers! Actual. Beam. Sabers. Like, Ah Mah Gawd! A lot better than Exia =.=

I really like to pose this guy. Although the design of the beam sabers make them fit a bit awkwardly in 00’s Hands.

_GN Sword II_

I don’t know why they’re called the GN Sword II, since they’re predecessor was called the GN short sword (and long sword, I guess). I honestly think that Exia Repair II’s sword should be the GN sword II…

Wow, That little sequence come out better than I thought! This is where: A) I wish the right hand came with a manipulator also, and B) A nice place to look at the shoulder decals (left pic).

Here are the beam effect parts for the GN Short Sword II (Calling it that from now on!). It easily adds half a length onto the swords.

And another sequence nicely completed! =D And the beam effects make the double sword so HUGE O-O. It is, literally, a foot long!

And I don’t have pictures of the Gun mode on this thing…. Oh dear….

I was sick when I did this photo shoot. That is my only excuse!

_GN Sword III_

The GN Sword looks so much better with white on it! Don’t you think? The GN Sword III is also ambidextrous, so you could put it on the left hand, if that’s the kind of thing you think you would be into.

Wow, I like that! The Sword fits well in his hand, and snaps into a hole on the back of his forearm. keeping it nice and in place.

Hm. Wrong angle to make this look good. Needs to be more downward. If you would kindly tilt your screen to the left, please. ;

_GN Shield_

Looks like a VERY useless looking shield. I mean, what are you going to block with that? I suppose it would work in close quarters, but hey.

Can’t really do any action poses with this. I really like the way it looks on the GN Drives though.

_0 Raiser_

To many pieces to put into one frame… xP

Once this thing is done, it’s more or less a statue all by itself. kinda’ useless…

_00 Raiser_

You can’t really see it (xP), but the model has to lean really far forward to properly stand.

The Beam effect part for the GN Sword III makes it look a bit to short and thick, like a bastard sword… Anyway, I like it without it. And there’s not much more I can do with the posing here. It’s the exact same as the 00… It’s also a good thing they gave you a stand, because posing this thing without it, is really annoying.

_Final Thoughts_

Posability: 9/10 Really VERY good! I’m ignoring the 0 Raiser, since it has no posability… Though, for a triple jointed arm, it could still touch it’s own shoulder.

Aesthetics: 8/10 Not my favorite mecha to look at, but it still looks very good!

Playability: 9/10 Very easy to just through into any pose. You could literally throw this model across the room, stand it on it’s feet, and have it on a good pose!

Build-ability: 9/10 Simple, no unused parts, or nothing unneeded. Well, it is a High Grade… xP

Detail: 7/10 some stuff they could’ve added, but over-all, it looks good, and not too band.

Overall: 8/10 It’s an over all good deal. You get two kits (which is nice, since the 0 Raiser by itself is pretty useless), and a big ass sword! =D And all for 20 bucks! HooRah! It’s a nice simple piece, and although I don’t take High Grades as seriously as my Master Grades (I build them to get my building addiction under control between models, or when I just need to build), I like it! I would only consider getting this if you don’t already own the 00 Gundam, or the 00 Raiser. Well, if you own one of the two, it wouldn’t hurt to grab this one, I suppose…

Sub Project: I just wanted to see how many Nubs I could gather during a build. Look how much plastic one could accumulate if you don’t vacuum! And this is only from a High Grade!

High Grade (HG): What many consider the “standard grade” sitting at 1/144 scale (approx. 13cm) and a great way to begin the hobby If you are after something quicker but still with a good amount of detail at a lower price, also has the widest range of model kits so If It's In Gundam media It's probably available!

What is the difference between Gundam Wing RG and HG?
