Sbs entertainment award for top excellence in variety năm 2024

SBS has honored the variety stars and programs who shone brightest on the network over the past year!

On December 17, the 2022 SBS Entertainment Awards took place at the SBS Prism Tower in Seoul, with Tak Jae Hoon, Jang Do Yeon, and Lee Hyun Yi serving as MCs.

Yoo Jae Suk won this year’s Daesang (Grand Prize), marking his 19th Daesang overall—and his seventh from SBS. As he accepted his award, the comedian remarked, “‘Running Man’ is now approaching its 13th year. It’s a huge honor to be able to keep a variety show going for this long, but it’s also a year in which I face a task at hand. Considering all the love we have received for our variety show, I will work hard together with the other members to give you even more laughter.”

Yoo Jae Suk and his “Running Man” co-star Kim Jong Kook also took home the award for Couple of the Year, while “Running Man,” “My Little Old Boy,” and “Shooting Stars” won this year’s awards for Program of the Year.

Winners of SBS Entertainment Awards 2023, hosted by Lee Sang Min, Lee Hyun Ii and Kim Ji Eun, were honored at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Seoul, on Saturday (December 30). People across the globe were curious to find who will take home the Grand Prize (Daesang) this year.

The annual award show was broadcast live on SBS for people in South Korea. The ceremony was available to stream on the official website of the broadcasting network for international viewers. The nominees for the Grand Prize (Daesang) were Shin Dong Yup, Yoo Jae Suk, Tak Jae Hoon, Lee Sang Min, Kim Jong Kook, Seo Jang Hoon, and Lee Hyeon Yi.

The other award categories were Top Excellence Award in Programming, Special Award, Top Excellence Award in Reality Show, Excellence Award in Variety Show, Excellence Award in Show and Sports Program Category, Excellence Program Award in Reality Show, Producer Award, SBS Honourary Employee Award, Variety Star of the Year, Best Couple, Best Teamwork, Best Family, Next Level Award, Directors' Award, Screenwriter Award, Radio DJ Award, Rookie Award for Radio, Rookie Award for Reality Show, Rookie Award for Show and Sports Category, Rookie Award for Variety Show, and Best Couple Award were the other nomination categories.

The 2023 SBS Entertainment Awards took place on December 30th at the SBS building in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.

This year, Tak Jae Hoon was the one who took home the Grand Prize (Daesang). Currently appearing on SBS shows such as 'My Little Old Boy' and 'Dolsing Fourmen,' Tak Jae Hoon commented, "Thank you for bestowing such an amazing award. I had low expectations because everyone here tonight deserved to win. So I have been enjoying the night without preparing my acceptance speech."

He continued, "If I did 10 percent, I believe the cast members did 40 and the production team did 50. I think my mother would be proud at this moment. I debuted as a solo back in 1994 and I get such a huge award at SBS after 30 years. I once again thank you for the award and I am genuinely grateful for everyone who supported me."

Along with Tak Jae Hoon, many other notable individuals were also recognized for their contribution to the entertainment industry through SBS.
