Staying at any Big 4 Holiday Park you know that they have standards the Howard Springs Big 4 Holiday Park is no exception. Set in lovely tropical settings units/cabins to suit all budgets, good size caravan sites, water park - 3 pools and hot tubs for the warmer Darwin days. A very nice park handy to Darwin and all it has to offer.

"Great place to stay. Nothing is too much trouble for staff. We were made to feel very welcome. Make sure this is your first port of call when you get to Darwin. Family friendly. Clean amenities. Grounds always kept clean and tidy. Highly recommended."

"BIG4 Howard springs is a lovely clean park with service that is a benchmark for others. Pet friendly which is a bonus. I love their pools in this Darwin heat. Wonderful and close to major shopping complex. Definitely our go to park when visiting the top end."

"We had the best time. Awesome facilities, best water park, pools and jumping pillow. The service is so friendly. The kids are asking when we are going back. Can't wait to get back there in July!"

"Well equipped park, two pools, kids looked after well, pet friendly, good assortment of sites and cabins , quiet park despite it's size, handy to the Stuart highway and about 20 kilometres from the Darwins CBD, handy kicking off point to Katherine, Kakadu, and Litchfield."

"We chose this park as it was about 1/2 hr out of Darwin and gave us easier access to Kakadu, Litchfield and Berry Spring. Palmerston and Coolalinga were only a 5-10min drive for major supermarkets. An small IGA and petrol station were on the same road as the park, and the office had back groceries etc available for purchase. Most evenings they had some form of get together which enabled you to meet others in the park. They also had a great tourist info and booking service at the office. We were very independent as had our own car and met friends up here so didn't need these services too much. Received fresh linen every 4 days if you stayed longer than 8 days in there cabins."

"The Park was absolutely beautiful, and well kept.
The staff were very sociable and helpful in all ways.
The park was extremely quiet at nights but had plenty of people staying there.
The ammenities were some of the best i have seen and there was plenty of activities for children.
One of the highlights for me was the peope who came to the park and explained and showed us how the didgeredoos where made and how to play them."

"Among the best caravan parks we have visitied. We stayed in a cabin which was spacious and comfortable. Ar first glance we felt the grounds were a bit scrappy but once settled we found the setting t be very pleasant. We could have done with a second bedside table - there was ample room for one but otherwise clean and comfortable and well-equipped. The park is a bit further from the city than other parks we have stayed at but to compensate, it was right next to the lovely Howard Springs Nature Reserve. We enjoyed our stay and wish we had allowed more time in Darwin. Pricing was at the low end of mid-range, very reasonable for what we got and its location"

"We had a powered site directly across from the newly renovated ammenities block, which has a disabled access room. The staff here are super friendly, and always available to help with any problems. The park is flat, and would highly recommend this park to anybody travelling with a wheelchair or other restriction on mobility. Also being pet friendly is a great bonus. The outdoor staff ensure that the grounds are kept tidy and clean."
