Kymco K Pipe 125 Review 2023The Kymco K Pipe 125 is an incredible sports bike that has the capability to rule any kind of road with its efficient and reliable engine. Every aspect of this marvelous bike is stunning. The size of the bike is not that big but the performance is terrific. The ride quality is also very comfortable. This allures the zealous riders. Another major highlight of this beautiful ride is the vertical headlight design. This mini-street beauty is a beautiful amalgamation of power and design. Its incredible suspension and exquisite handling is the reason behind its growing popularity in the Malaysian market. It is priced at around RM 8382. Despite the fact that the K-Pipe is marketed as a decent starting bike, it is much more. It's tiny and manageable for those who are new to two wheels, but it's also enjoyable for those who are more experienced. The K-Pipe is compact and nimble enough to allow the rider to filter through crowded downtown traffic. A high-lumen Caribe LED taillight adds a touch of sophistication to an otherwise simple street-snarly design, and a vertical double headlight adds a bit of style to the overall aggressive aspect. Instead of repurposing one of its existing frames, KYMCO built the "Spinal Column" chassis from the ground up for the K-Pipe. The stressed-engine skeleton is nice and light, weighing only 26 pounds dry, which is 30% less than KYMCO's previous sportbikes. The frame configuration gives it a nose-down posture with an unexpectedly lofty 31-inch seat height, making it more street bike than a scooter. K Pipe 125 Ride & HandlingThe handling section of the Kymco K pipe 125 is exquisite. It never fails to deliver a comfortable experience to the riders. A set of 17-inch wheels are connected to the tubular steel frame/swingarm and 31mm fork. Except for the rear preload, the suspension is not adjustable. The 3.5-in. and 4-in. front and rear suspension travel is more than enough in this class. The K-Pipe has a surprisingly wide riding posture because of its 31-inch seat height and its 247-pound weight stops it from being scary to rookie riders when stopped. The front end of conventional forks floats on 4.33 inches of travel, but the central-mount, coil-over-shock only gives up 1.1 inches, and neither end provides any type of adjustability. Kymco K Pipe 125 Engine & Fuel ConsumptionThe Kymco K-Pipe 125 is powered by a 123.7cc engine that churns out around 8.04 hp power. This is quite impressive for a ride with such a low displacement. The engine is air-cooled, carbureted, and has two valves. However, the transmission deserves special attention. The shift pattern places neutral at the bottom instead of between first and second gears, resulting in an N-1-2-3-4 shift pattern. Furthermore, the shift lever throw is unusually lengthy, requiring riders to extend their left foot twice as far as they would on most bikes to change gears. Furthermore, because the K-Pipe is a novice bike from a manufacturer known for scooters, the user does not need to modulate the clutch to start in first gear. When the cyclist is at a standstill, the rider just engages first gear without using the clutch. One needs to simply roll on the throttle when it's time to drive away from a stop. A set of 17-inch wheels are connected to the tubular steel frame/swingarm and 31mm fork. K Pipe 125 Braking & SafetyThe Kymco K Pipe 125 is also equipped with a strong and efficient braking system. Brakes are also mediocre at best. The single 276 mm front disc is squeezed by a twin-pot caliper, but the back tyre is slowed by a 140 mm drum. This ride also flaunts a variety of safety features like a rigid chassis, a pass switch, and side reflectors. The safety section can definitely be improvised. Kymco K Pipe 125 VerdictThe Kymco K Pipe 125 would prove to be the ideal ride for the zealous riders who wish to dominate the roads. The highlights of this bike are a strong and reliable engine coupled with an incredible suspension. The braking system is also quite efficient. The instrument cluster is also quite intriguing. All these features combine to make this ride the perfect deal for ardent riders. Kymco K Pipe 125 Owner ReviewsWrite a Review 4.38/5 Very Good based on 8 reviews
