Lỗi không render được video sony vegas 11 năm 2024

I am running Vegas Pro 10e with no problems whatsoever. I downloaded a trial of 11 to test it out (specifically GPU render times).

Every time I try to render an .mp4 with Vegas 11 it gets about 10 seconds into the render and errors out with and unknown error. This is occurring on different .mt2 files that all work fine on Vegas 10e.

I think I'll wait to upgrade!

If your video card doesn't contribute any GPU rendering capabilities, make sure you use the custom settings in the rendering windows to "CPU ONLY" rendering.

I've experienced the same problem as you, but there's a flaw in how Vegas is detecting CPU/GPUs in AUTO rendering mode.

Try it and see what happens.

I'm getting a similar failure with the MainConcept profiles only (all versions I've tried). I do suspect it's based on the difference that I don't seem to be able to do CPU-only rendering via that option. So far, the Sony AVC and XDCAM EX MP4 options have rendered acceptably. No attempt to render with Main Concept has yet gone past a few seconds of render time.

Using 64-bit Build 425 which came in the mail yesterday (well, an older build on disc, but that allowed me to DL Build 425, which was the first build I've installed of Pro 11 (I do have older versions 8, 9 and 10) installed on this machine still.

Probably not related, but when I tried installing from disc on my laptop (I was not at an active net connection at the time) pressing the 64-bit installation button froze the machine and I had to power down for a restart. Wondering what might be going on there, and haven't yet tried to install while connected, but on that machine I had not installed 10, but do have a copy of 9 installed, connected to the same license. Are there installation issues I should be watching out for, as unfortunately that laptop is in better shape than this machine, and is probably where I will be using Vegas the most, assuming I can get a stable installation.

This machine, 64-bit Vista. The laptop is 64-bit Win7.

Even when I turn off the GPU rendering option under preferences and re-start Vegas 11, I get the same render error.

Tried it with both .mt2 and DV files, same error.

So again, for me, Vegas 11 is a non-starter. Really curious since I've used Vegas since version 6 I think and NEVER had a problem. Really frustrating that I can't even seem to render a file.

Don't think I'll go through the whole troubleshooting effort at this point to figure out what's wrong, I'll just wait for release B or C and see what happens.

Anybody else seeing this?

There's definitely some kind of problem with the MainConcept codec(s). I'm still seeing dropped frames and purple frames when rendering out a file. I've had no problems rendering to QuickTime (which is odd in and of itself) and WMV is also no problem. At this point, I'm inclined to beg my clients to accept high quality WMVs instead of MP4s. Or I suppose I could render out WMVs or uncompressed QT and then encode them with Adobe Media Encoder (I'm fortunate to have a lot of tools at my disposal, I really feel for those who have more limited options).

In short for many of us, Vegas 11 has a lot of issues and I'm sure SCS is working on them (we can only hope). I wish we'd get some more communication from them on progress, issues, etc. Cakewalk has started to embrace their community (of which I'm also a member) and I really would like to see SCS join forces with their community to improve Vegas and all their products.

Just a quick update. I have downloaded the latest build of Vegas 11 Pro and tried to render (with and without GPU support) using the MainConcept codecs. The render errors out under all circumstances after about 5 seconds.

This is really odd as I have been using Vegas Pro since version 6 without any issues. I currently am using 10e and it's pretty much rock solid. My hardware hasn't change in 18 months (no new drives, memory, video card, not even a new fan!). I can confidently say that nothing has changed hardware wise in a long time. I have loaded some new minor software applications but again, nothing else is broken, only Vegas Pro 11 doesn't work correctly.

I am happy with 10e (I am an avid amateur, I don't do this for a living) so I don't NEED to update but just find it extraordinarily frustrating and surprising that Vegas 11 won't work for me after so many years of no issues and no recent hardware changes.

It's just very odd and perplexing. I will keep trying as new builds come out but it seems that there is definitely something very odd with version 11 (at least for me).

You must turn off GPU encoding in options AND select CPU encoding only in the render panel.
