In this user guide, we describe some of the possible reasons that may cause paragraph marks to be removed in Outlook, and then we suggest some possible solutions to this problem. Select Mail, and under Compose Messages, click Editor Options. Select “Show” and also turn on the “Paragraph Marks” option. Click OK on the dialog boxes to change the setting. To turn off these paragraph marks, uncheck “Paragraph Marks”.

Like Microsoft Word, Outlook 2013 includes additional formatting marks to create the perfect overall email layout. While keeping the default settings, clicking the Show/Hide button on the Text Layout tab toggles all formatted scar tissue. However, this button suggestion does not allow the patient to control the formatting marks, so you cannot selectively remove just a suggestion or two of the marks. Also, if you changed, you will see that some paragraph characters are still shown by default, the button just doesn’t affect that formatting mark. In such risky cases, open the Send Options dialog to disable phrase markers.

Click File, Options, and also Send by Email. Although you can getAccessing these email options from the main Outlook window, the formatting options are only available when you open them in the compose window.

In the Composing Posts section, click Editor Options, then select the View side tab.

Turn off the paragraph marks, then click OK twice to close the Editor Options and Outlook Options windows. If you still see one type of paragraph mark, click the Text Format tab, then click the Show/Hide icon for the current paragraph mark. This looks like an inverted “P” throughout the group paragraph.

You’ll probably notice that when you’re composing an email, a lot of special characters appear in your body. These are formatting characters. Then sometimes you get tired of these available markers and want to turn people off or just hide. What are you going to do? With this mini-workshop, disabling or hiding format strings is no longer a problem.
