Infiniti pro conair curling iron reviews năm 2024

There are lots of get ready with me makeup tutorials but I find hair styling to be quite underrated! When I curl my hair, I feel instantly more glamorous and put together. Today, I’ll be sharing my review of the Conair infinitiPRO Interchangeable Curling Wand.

This set comes with 3 clipless barrels, a finger glove, and a storage pouch! The barrels use titanium cermaic for even heat distribution and to prevent frizz. It is available at Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart for $69.99.

The Barrels

What intrigued me about this set is the interchangeable barrels! I’ve used a few curling irons in my life but they’ve all been 1 inch which is usually the standard. In this kit, you get the standard 1 inch barrel, an inverted barrel for natural beach waves and a 1.5 inch barrel for loose curls.

It’s really easy to switch the barrels. You simply twist the black part where it has drawings of the lock and lock the new barrel in place.

I prefer clipless barrels because I often get a crimp in my hair with the clip. I also find it easier to maneuver where I start and where I end the curl. These barrels are extra long so it’s ideal for longer hair! This way, you won’t have to double up and each piece of your hair can be directly on the curling wand.

The only thing I don’t like about the barrel is that there’s a rubber notch on the end to help the wand stand up without touch the counter surface. However, I usually like to pull the wand out vertically to let the curl fall down naturally. This notch always catches in my curls and makes it difficult for me to use this technique.

Heat Up Time

The Conair infinitiPRO is advertised to have a 30 second heat up time. The lights on the wand will blink as it’s heating up and change to solid once it’s at full temperature. I find that I get a much better curl if I let it heat up for a long time. I usually turn it on as I start my makeup. Then in 10 minutes, I find that the heat is actually hot enough for me to use. I would recommend a heat up time of 5 minutes to achieve a good curl from the first strand.

There are 5 heat settings ranging from 293 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. I always use the highest 400 degrees. I have relatively thick straight hair. So far, I haven’t noticed any damage and my hair looks healthy! There is an automatic shut off after 60 minutes. So you won’t have to worry about it if you’ve left home.

The Looks

I was really excited about the 1.5 inch barrel as I’ve never had a wand that large before. But I actually ended up loving the other 2 barrels more. The 1 inch barrel did a great job creating standard curls.

Here is the look using the inverted barrel for loose beach waves. I didn’t curl my hair all the way to the end, which is why the bottom piece is quite straight. I love this effortless, California feel! Also, I love finally seeing dimensions in curls since I coloured my hair at Suki’s!

Here below I have a look using the 1.5 inch barrel barrel! You can see that I still have quite a bit of curls from the back. But around the face I have cascading loose curls which is nice for a casual look. I find this barrel creates a bit of an inconsistent look depending on how thick of a strand you use and how long you hold it against the barrel for. The thinner the strand, the better the curl. But it doesn’t provide enough curl if you use too thick of a strand.

Compared to the Drybar curling iron that I had before, I feel like I need to hold my hair around the barrel for longer. It takes me about 12 minutes to curl my whole head using this Conair Infinitipro Interchangeable Curling Wand. When I use hair spray, the curl holds for at least one day. However, if I don’t use hair spray, it’ll usually fall out by the end of the day.

Overall I’m a big fan of the aesthetics of the wand. With a sleek black barrel and rose gold wands, it looks much more high end than its price tag. If you want an affordable alternative with interchangeable barrels, this is a great pick! I would say the heat up time is longer and each strand takes longer to curl. But if you are not curling your hair on a daily basis, this is a great pick for versatility and value!

Are Conair curling irons any good?

The iron heats up incredibly fast and I love the auto-off safety feature. There are a ton of different heat settings to choose from. My hair is fine and naturally wavy, but I use the 13 setting and it does great. It doesn't have any kind of nonstick coating on it, but it's never been an issue.
